Sweet Briar is Geneseo's premier location for your wedding or event. If you are planning a large event for up to 225 guests or small intimate weddings, anniversary or retirement party, we are ready to meet your needs.

We can seat up to 80 people inside (in three adjoining rooms). For Larger parties we have a 40 X 80 white tent that will accommodate up to 220 guests. The tent is on a level, hard, carpeted surface and is connected to the house by a meandering flagstone sidewalk installed in 2006.

We will personally handle the details (tables, chairs, linens, tents, dance floor, caterer, parking, food and beverage service, etc.). Let our caterers work with you to create the perfect meal. When you book at Sweet Briar the facility is yours exclusively for the duration of your event. This will provide you and your guests with an intimate, private setting for your special event.

Weddings are required to rent our second floor accommodations for the night of the wedding (link to bed and breakfast page).
